This Privacy Policy explains how the Nevada State Fire Marshal Division collects, uses, and protects information through the NV IMPACT website and mobile application (collectively referred to as “the System”). The System is used to record, track, and manage firefighter training, certifications, and related compliance activities.

As a government-operated service, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of all users in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

Records are retained in accordance with State of Nevada and applicable public records laws. When records are no longer required, they are securely deleted or archived according to approved procedures.

7. User Access and Correction

Authorized users may view and update their own information within the System as permitted by their role and access level. Requests to correct or verify data may be directed to the designated system administrator or the Agency’s records officer.

8. Cookies and Analytics (Website Use Only)

The System may use session cookies to support secure login and navigation. These cookies do not contain personal information and are deleted after the session ends. No third-party analytics or tracking tools are used.
